J. Brandon Morgan, M.D.

Dr. Brandon Morgan is a board-certified general surgeon serving the community of El Dorado. A proud native of El Dorado, he was born and raised locally and graduated from El Dorado High School.

He went on to earn his medical degree from the UAMS College of Medicine in Little Rock and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. After finishing his training in 2006, Dr. Morgan returned home to open his private practice and serve the community that shaped him.

Dr. Morgan is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of surgical care.

With deep roots in El Dorado and advanced surgical training, Dr. Morgan combines hometown dedication with modern surgical expertise to provide comprehensive care for his patients.

Dr. Morgan performs surgeries at The South Arkansas Regional Hospital and the South Arkansas Surgery Center. He provides a wide range of general surgical services, including:

Thomas Kennedy Jr., M.D.

Dr. Thomas Kennedy Jr. is a board-certified general surgeon practicing in El Dorado. He is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is committed to delivering high-quality surgical care.

Dr. Kennedy serves as the Trauma Director at South Arkansas Regional Hospital and as the Medical Director of the hospital’s Wound Care Center. He also operates at the South Arkansas Surgery Center.

Born and raised in Little Rock, Dr. Kennedy graduated from Central Arkansas Christian in 2008. He went on to attend University of Central Arkansas before earning his medical degree from UAMS College of Medicine.

He completed his residency in general surgery at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. After graduating in 2022, he returned home to Arkansas to practice in El Dorado. In 2026, he transitioned to private practice. El Dorado has quickly become home for Dr. Kennedy and his family. Dr. Kennedy operates at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital and the South Arkansas Surgery Center. Some of the more common procedures include:
